INTERCONTINENTAL NHA TRANG TAKES INITIATIVE TO “SAVE OUR MARINE LIFE”

Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, 14^th July 2014 – InterContinental Nha Trang has launched an innovative CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) campaign “Save Our Marine Life”, and this is one in a series of environmental activities that the hotel has planned for the year. The aim of the campaign is to protect the city environment as well as the preservation of natural sites in Nha Trang, where the hotel is located. According to that, hotel colleagues will volunteer to snorkel and collect trash in the sea around Hon Mun island, a prime diving and snorkeling site in Nha Trang Bay. Due to its proximity to hot-sea currents, the sea bed is home to an abundant and diverse group of marine species. The campaign has received a great support from the local diving center, Rain Bow Divers, to sponsor all snorkeling equipment.
